The surf spot
Dreamland reef breaks 300 metres out on every tide but dead low. Mornings go to lessons, afternoons to free surfing with a coach watching from the water.

Our cook times the menu to the surf. Early sessions get fruit and Kintamani coffee on the cliff edge; everyone meets for nasi campur and family dinner at the long table.

A deck on the west cliff, two minutes from the house. Most evenings end here: fresh coconuts, a cold Bintang, someone’s playlist and the last set rolling into Dreamland.
